Compliance Assistant (m/f/f)
The Compliance Assistant (CA) primary role is to assist the Compliance Department in its responsibility for complying with all relevant regulatory requirements, with internal policies and Eurobank Group standards. The CA plays an important role in strengthening the prudential regulatory expertise and skill-set within the Compliance department.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Prevention and Control of Money Laundering (AML) and Terrorism Financing (CFT) - Assists In:
- The developments in the relevant legislation and update of the Bank’s AML/CFT/KYC policy in line with changes in local legislation and Group requirement
- Coordinating the training needs and in delivering trainings assigned to the Bank’s employees
- Gathering information related to the preparation of Report suspicious transactions to the local FIU in accordance with local regulatory requirements and provide respective support to the AML/CFT CO.
- Transactions monitoring, customers’ accounts reviews, review of higher risk clients including PEPs, dormant accounts, clients under surveillance, incomplete accounts, administration and investigation of alerts
Regulator and other Authorities requests - Assists In:
- Compliance responsible members in the responses to the Regulator and Judicial Authorities on requests regarding AML and financial crime cases.
Code of Conduct and prevention of staff fraud - Assists In:
- Monitoring of staff transactions to ensure adherence to the Bank’s Internal Code of Conduct
MiFID related applicable laws and regulations: - Assists In:
- Keeping abreast of developments in the relevant legislation
- Supporting Compliance Department in various monitoring activities
Other - Assists In:
- Procedures: provides respective assistance from a compliance perspective upon request of the Compliance Department
- Client Complaints: assist with complaints management process (ensures that the register of complaints is kept up to date and respective follow-up is done)
- Periodic, ad-hoc or further compliance tasks interalia
Requirements
- Education: University degree in business management, law or similar disciplines.
- Experience: 3 years regulatory or financial services experience in the banking sector, consulting firms or audit sector.
- Hard skills: Proficient computer skills, working knowledge of the various laws and regulations of the Luxembourg financial sector.
- Soft skills: Attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical and logical skills
- Languages: English amp; French: strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
