About the Opportunity
Dentons Luxembourg with Martine Gerber-Lemaire is currently looking to strengthen its pre-eminent REAL ESTATE practice with an appointment of highly experienced Senior Associate who is an ambitious and commercially driven Lawyer. We are particularly known for acting on the most significant, complex, high value deals and work collaboratively with specialists across the firm to ensure all of our clients’ requirements are met to the highest of standards. The transactional Real Estate practice working on a broad spectrum of Luxembourg real estate for international and national clients such as share deal, asset deal, joint ventures, lease agreements, promotion agreement, co-ownership rules. Due to the polycentric character of the firm you will get the opportunity to work closely with colleagues form other offices.
The Luxembourg team provides a full range of legal services, with a particular focus on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, tax, investment funds, banking and finance, structured finance, real estate, and restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy.
About the Role
As a member of the Real Estate practice, you will be accountable for:
- Drafting and reviewing agreements and analysing civil and special laws specific disposition;
- Providing legal advice in transactions (negotiations, due diligence);
- Being the point of contact of our clients (strong service focus);
- Ability to contribute to Luxembourg real estate doctrine.
About You
You have gained in a Luxembourg Real Estate Law in a Luxembourg law firm 5 to 7 year experience;
- You have a university degree in law (equivalent to Master 2, LLM);
- You are admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (list 1 or list 4);
- You are fluent in English and French - German is an asset ;
- Ability and willingness to be part of the Luxembourg real estate community;
- Urbanism legal skills and Real Estate tax skills will be highly appreciated;
- You are solution-oriented, pro-active and team player;
- Developing internal and external network.
