Wunderman Thompson has an international atmosphere, with a dynamic, young, and multicultural team. The company is part of WPP's fully owned global digital agency, Wunderman Thompson Commerce.
We are currently looking for an experienced Data analyst professional to help us develop new data focused products that generate value added for our clients as well as for company internal efficiency. As a Data Analyst Manager, you will be vital in continuing our efforts as an industry leader by creating best-in-class data analysis to support and collaborate with a team of PPC Specialists and Programmatic specialist to drive profitable sales growth for our clients.

A typical week in the life of a WTC Data analyst:
- IT projects management: Apply agile project management skills to coordinate and prioritize tasks defining projects milestones, responsibility, and next steps.
- Project initiation: Be proactive to define potential value adding projects based on big data and cloud computing best-practices. Leverage your Python and SQL skills to create prototypes of your idea and sell your vision to the management.
- Project validation: Be the person in charge of testing the project’s proof of concept through analytical techniques before collaborating with IT department to scale it
- On demand Implementations: Implementation of on demand customized dashboards generating new value added for our clients and scale them to drive additional revenues for the company.
- Business Analysis: Work closely with our business consultants and project managers to shape projects which are feasible in time and budget
- Trends: You can quickly identify new trends within the world of eCommerce amp; Amazon and take appropriate action to adapt to these trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, engineering, mathematics, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience in programming and/or data analysis
- Solid, hands-on developing skill in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud solutions, such as Redshift, Snowflake or BigQuery is considered as a plus
- Past marketing experience is considered as a big plus
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Data-driven mindset and ability to work well independently and be self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Fluency in English, any further language is a plus
- EU working permit
