Job Description
We are seeking for a Treasury Back Office amp; Cash Payments Officer to join the Back Office Department for a 1 year fixed term contract. The mission of the department is to receive, process, and settle client instructions in the systems of the Bank and in the market. The clientele serviced by the department is consisted by Institutional, Corporate and Private Entities.
In parallel to the above tasks, the department performs a variety of controls and reports relevant to its operations, both internally and regulatory driven.
As a Treasury Back Office amp; Cash Payments Officer you will be interacting on a daily basis with the Treasury Department of the Bank and will liaise with external counterparties for inquiries.
Requirements
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Processing of Client cash payments
- Processing of Interbank payments
- Processing of other Client and Interbank Transactions in the core systems of the Bank
- NOSTRO reconciliations
You will be a great candidate for us if you:
- Have three to five (3-5) years minimum prior experience in a Payments Department or Treasury Back Office operations
- Have good knowledge of SWIFT messaging with emphasis on MT1XXX, MT2XX and MT3XX categories
- Have good Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Are fluent in the English language
- Have good analytical skills and you are able to multitask
- Knowledge of G13 or T24 programs developed from Temenos Group will be considered to be a plus
- Knowledge of GTExchange program for SWIFT handling will be a plus
- Knowledge of Greek language is also a plus due to orders received frequently in Greek from clientele
