Job Description

We are seeking for a Credit Risk Officer to join the Risk Management Department. The mission of the department is to anticipate, identify, measure, monitor, control and report all risks of the Eurobank Private Bank Luxembourg, as well as implement all new Risk guidelines and regulations published from both the Group and the Regulator.

The position will report to the Manager, Credit Risk and Control.

As a Credit Risk Officer you will be interacting on a daily basis, with all departments of the Bank, relevant Risk departments of the Group and the Regulator.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Credit Risk Monitoring amp; Assessment

  • Daily Monitoring of client exposures
  • Aid in the analysis and review of Credit proposals
  • Liaise accordingly with Front Office and Loan Administration Departments

Credit Risk Reporting

  • Aid in the preparation of all Credit Reporting packages to Group and Regulator (FINREP, etc)
  • IFRR9 Provision Calculation
  • Aid in the preparation of Internal Credit presentation

You will be a great candidate for us if you:

  • Own a university degree preferably business related field. Participation in or Completion of professional qualification programs, like CFA or FRM, would be considered an asset
  • Have two to five (2-5) years of experience in a Credit Risk Monitoring/Assessment/Reporting function. Experience within the Private Banking industry will be considered a strong asset
  • Have basic understanding of the Loan Products (Mortgages, Lombard loans, etc.); Strong numerical and data analytics skills; ability to understand and analyze business needs; advanced Excel literacy and/or knowledge of SAS will be considered a significant advantage; working knowledge of G13 or T24 Banking Systems would be an asset
  • Are fluent in the English language
  • Have advanced business/analytical thinking and problem solving skills, comfortable working in a multi-tasking environment, teamwork spirit
