Java Developer (EJB, Hibernate, SQL)

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer, fluent in English to offer his/her services as a specialist who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Web application development, analysis, design and testing;
- Database programming using SQL;
- Contribution in the applications’ enhancement such as periodical clean-up, design and implementation of new features and participation in the business analysis phase;
- Non-regression testing and bug fixing;
- Training of new resources;
- Release management and evolutive maintenance;
- Creation of technical documentation.
Requirements
- University degree related to IT with minimum 10 years of professional experience in software analysis, design and testing of Java based web applications;
- Proven professional experience in web development and database programing using SQL;
- Extensive experience with EJB, Hibernate, JSF, JPA, XML/XSLT, JBoss, Jenkins, Maven and SVN;
- Hands on experience with Transact SQL or PL/SQL and Junit testing framework;
- Experience in the financial sector is highly desirable;
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
