Alongside Hydrosat’s technical team, you will help create innovative solutions for precision farming, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the field of remote sensing and agricultural technology.

Responsibilities

  • Process high-resolution satellite data to create time series of vegetation indices for crop yield predictions at fine scales.
  • Analyze satellite and weather data, contributing to extracting key insights for precision agricultural applications.
  • Evaluate crop yield prediction against in-field data.
  • Support the analysis of data from field trials.
  • Assist in developing and implementing data processing algorithms and workflows by collaborating with other data scientists and software developers.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Agricultural or Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Python programming.
  • Understanding of or interest in statistical analysis, particularly as it applies to environmental or agricultural data.
  • Experience with Earth Observation and geospatial analysis is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Benefits

  • Remarkable chance to delve into the world of remote sensing and agricultural technology, providing a platform for professional growth and the development of specialized skills in an exciting, future-oriented field.
  • Mentorship and professional development opportunities.
  • Access to great facilities at the Luxembourg House of Startups.
  • Attractive compensation.
