What will you be bringing to the team?
- Reviewing use cases and proposing constructive solutions that would address them, while adhering to the IT Architecture, data security and auditing standards EU Institution applies
- Installing, updating and configuring components of the information systems (Denodo and related components) based on information provided by the products installation guides concerned and respecting the specifications of IT environments
- Monitoring database / application usage and performance
- Analysis of specific programs (database reports, database import/export, etc.)
- Reporting and managing incidents in Issue Tracking System Atlassian JIRA
- Integration of Denodo views with analytical tools and with other systems
- Maintaining technical documentation
- Coordination of support activities including follow-up, management of incidents and troubleshooting.
- Support for Data integration layer (Denodo)
- Evolutionary maintenance of data services
- Software architectural tasks
- Project management responsibilities (Participation in kick-off meeting,preparation of work plans, task description and estimation documents etc)
Requirements
- MSc degree with minimum 5 years of working experience or BSc degree with minimum 9 years of working experience
- Expert knowledge of Open Systems architecture
- Expert knowledge of the authentication amp; authorization market standards (LDAP, CAS, SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, )
- Expert knowledge in networking amp; security
- Good knowledge of RDBMS, SQL (namely Oracle DBMS), decent knowledge of MongoDB and other NoSQL systems
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Good knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux OS
- Good knowledge about SCM and Branching (preferably GIT)
- Good knowledge about Continuous integration tools (namely Atlassian suite)
- Good knowledge of software modelling languages and tools (ex.: UML)
- Familiarity with Weblogic/Tomcat
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
- Familiarity with GITLab, Docker and Kubernetes
