What will you be bringing to the team?

• Design and set up the framework and policies around the EPPO cloud infrastructure implementation (Azure), considering the specific data protection and security requirements
• Participate in complex software development projects in the role of a Cloud Infrastructure and Solutions Specialist
• Provide configuration expertise and assistance to the IT unit teams to build solutions that address user's needs in clear and differentiated manner
• Manage institution data securely on Cloud environment
• Perform cloud technology patching when appropriate, availability and performance monitoring
• Help the organization to monitor and reduce/optimize their cloud usage costs
• Predict and anticipate future opportunities and challenges and create solutions in advance
• Turn ambiguous business requirements into clearly defined problem statements and articulate architectural solutions to product owners, dev-groups, and management

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Hold a Master's degree or equivalent
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of professional experience as Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Solutions Specialist
• Previous experience within an EU institution or financial company, in complex development projects
• Previous experience in medium-large cloud implementation or migration projects and application automation tools, in designing and implementing role for infrastructural solution blocks
• Proven knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and serverless services, with understanding of operational constraints and concepts as Resilience, Disaster Recovery, cloud event monitoring
• Excellent knowledge of networking and security concepts, and their application in the cloud
• Proven experience in crafting complex web applications with backend services expertise, such as API Gateway, Identity and Access Management Services (IAM), Data Protection technologies, Security Information Event Management
• Experience with cloud optimization tools
• Strong knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle methodologies, DevOps and Agile based methodologies, middleware platforms, development platforms
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and monitoring cloud components (e.g., Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics)
• Capacity to quickly learn and migrate to cloud environments based on IBM Filenet, IBM Business Automation Workflows
• Knowledge on continuous integration solutions with tools as Git, Jenkins Atlassian suite or similar
• Proficiency in English language
